The Consulate General of Israel to the Southwest, along with its partners, is proud to present the 2024 LatinTech Pitch in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month

 

This competition is an opportunity to:

  • Highlight your technology-based startup

  • Have a chance at winning one of three prizes
    (total value of up to $30,000)

  • Certificate of Recognition from the Israeli Government

  • Qualify for a six-month mentorship with a successful Israeli start-up company

  • A one-year subscription to a premium work management software company

  • Network with like-minded individuals in the field at our event

Join us in this special competition and event to celebrate your accomplishments as a Latino entrepreneur during Hispanic Heritage Month.  We can’t wait to hear about your startup and learn more about you!

 

Applications opened on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 10:00 am CST and will close on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 10:00 am CST. 

The submission deadline to enter is September 4, 2024, at 10:00 AM CST.

 

The top 5 finalists will be announced the week of September 9, 2024 and will showcase at the ION in Houston, Texas, on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.

Who can apply?
  • Must be a Latino or Hispanic founder of a tech-based start-up

  • Must be a majority owner or founder of your start-up

  • Must be headquartered in Texas

  • Must have received seed money in funding from investors

  • Must be an incorporated company in the United States

  • There is no minimum or maximum requirement on how long your start-up has been launched

Pitch Video Requirements

Your elevator pitch video must include the name of your start-up, an introduction to the founders, your Latino heritage/background, and an answer to at least one of the following questions: 

  • What inspired you to start? 

  • What problem are you solving in the world?

  • What makes your start-up unique from others?

  • How would you rate your venture’s success today?

  • As a Latino, what challenges do you face today in your industry and how has your start-up helped you move the needle forward for you and other Latinos in tech?

  • What is your vision for the start-up in the next five years?
