Arnold Castro is the newly appointed Assistant Dean of Artificial Intelligence at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University. Previous to this role, he served as the Chief Data & Technology Officer at MFG Analytic for nearly seven years, where he played a pivotal part in guiding organizations worldwide through their AI adoption journey—whether by developing AI-driven applications or providing strategic support to facilitate implementation. With nearly 30 years of experience as a technologist, Arnold has worked across diverse industries, including manufacturing, oil & gas, finance, military, and aerospace. His career is also distinguished by his service in the United States Army as an Airborne Combat Engineer, stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Arnold holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Campbell University, as well as an MBA (’17) and an MS in Analytics (’22) from Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School.
